I’m just a regular dude trying to live life to the fullest. My name is Sam Cochran. I am a jack of all trades, but I primarily focus on Technical Arts and Music. I am happily married to my beautiful, amazing, incredible wife Mandi. We were truly blessed with our little girl Olivia. Growing up in Louisville, Kentucky, I experienced a variety of culture. Living that city life, but holding on to southern traditions and values, I would always joke with my friends that we lived in “The north of the south”.

I had an opportunity open up to allow me the chance to move to Jacksonville, North Carolina. That’s where my life truly began. Currently owning The Casual Nerd, and supporting my wife as the owner of multiple Sylvan Learning locations, community is one of the more important things to our family.
